Over the last week in the far north, early A.M. temperatures have ranged 8.1 - 20.0 C across all major growing regions - whilst day time temperatures were warmer ranging 24.4 to 27.8 C. Though the forecast for the next week is for overnight/early morning temps to again dip to 10C or below which will contribute to a dulling of fruit bloom and significant rainfall for north and central Queensland which will slow harvest if it eventuates.

Cavendish presented this week with relatively good bloom, some green fruit and a presence of rub marks, with minor neck injuries and bruising.
